Expert Reviews of Orleans The Hotel and Casino

Gayot

When this resort opened in December 1996, it had 810 rooms and 30 suites in a 21-story tower. It also started with a 90,000-square-foot casino with a 40-foot-high ceiling depicting New Orleans street scenes,...

Orleans

Not a luxury hotel, but who needs luxury when you don't spend that much time in bed in Vegas anyways. The important thing is they have a nice pool, great service, and a bowling alley which is tons of fun!!...

Hidden Fees!

Charged $5/day for "resort fee" that was sneaked in on final bill. Doesn't seem like much, but I'm sure the 350 attendees of the Telco Bowling Tournament will in the future be choosing a hotel that doesn't gouge them.

Quality hotel for a reasonable price, especially in the off season. Room staff was quick and efficient. Slots were lacking in variety as were a few table games, for example Caribbean stud.

For great food, off-strip pricing and close proxy. To the live strip I would recommend the Orleans first before all.
